We are currently seeking a Media & Digital Content Creator to join our growing Marketing Department.
About the role:
- Creative strategy: Lead creative strategy and direction to deliver creativity that cuts through and converts. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and practices and explore new marketing channels. Being comfortable in identifying paid media opportunities, and brief in the graphic design team to have ad creatives made. Post-mortem analysis of social media activities and campaigns to both quantitatively and qualitatively define success, track KPIs, and identify and implement areas of improvement.
- Content planning: Develop a dedicated content calendar and a library of content resources available for marketing communication campaigns, website, email, seminar, PR, event, and social media amplification. Researching, discovering, planning, and creating social media and digital content for Multiple platforms, eg. Facebook, Instagram, monthly newsletters, blogs etc with viewers, current trends, and business objectives in mind including SEO & Google Ads
- Content delivery: Creating professional content (i.e. blogs, social media assets, tweets, newsletters) that consistently position TGL in the freight forwarding industry. Ongoing design and development of our website and social media platforms.
- Content optimization: identifies opportunities to improve the company website through new content, refining existing content or improving how content is displayed and integrated
- Campaign/event support: Develop and execute content ideas that help support campaign messaging in wider customer marketing programs and achieve campaign targets. Post-mortem analysis of social media activities and campaigns to both quantitatively and qualitatively define success, track KPIs, and identify and implement areas of improvement.
- External and Internal relationships: Support thought leadership content and seek out external and internal opportunities to increase awareness of the organization
- Team: Mentor and support direct reports who will assist in the delivery of brand and content requirements as well as offering coaching and support to the broader marketing team. Foster a culture of creativity and innovation
Requirements:
- 5+ years and proven ability to plan and create engaging content across multiple platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube from creating the footage to editing design
- Proficient in English and confident with sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation. High attention to detail including proofreading
- Strong project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Highly creative which requires thinking outside of the box and bringing new ideas to the forefront daily. – ideally familiar with design thinking
- Ability to ‘read the room’, identify impromptu content opportunities and ensure they are captured in real-time. Ability to see trends and develop content ideas to help us stand out.
- Ability to produce high volumes of content within an efficient timeframe.
- Ability to interpret feedback and make changes to content.
