Australian Machinery Import Regulations
It is important to highlight the stringent quarantine regulations when importing machinery into Australia. Any used equipment entering Australia via RORO, standard shipping, or breakbulk transport will be inspected by quarantine, and items found to contain bio-risk material will be sent for a quarantine wash at a designated quarantine depot. Once cleaned, any items that do not pass the second Quarantine inspection will need to undergo additional processing and potential for re-exportation.
