Business Development Professional – International Freight & Trade

TGL is a global provider of International Freight Forwarding, 3PL and Trade Consultancy services, headquartered in Sydney with offices and partners around the world. As part of our continued growth and international expansion, including the establishment of TGL’s USA, China and Vietnam offices, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Professional to join our Sydney team.
This role is suited to a motivated individual with experience in international freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain services who enjoys developing new business opportunities and building long-term client relationships.
About the Role
The primary focus of this role will be to identify and develop new business opportunities across international freight services while working closely with our operations and management teams.
Key responsibilities include:

Identifying and developing new business opportunities across air and ocean freight

Building and maintaining strong client relationships
-
Promoting TGL’s international freight forwarding and trade consultancy services

Representing TGL at industry events and client meetings
About You
We are looking for a commercially minded professional with strong industry knowledge and an established network within the logistics or international trade sector.
Key requirements:

Experience in international freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain

Strong understanding of import/export freight operations

Proven ability to develop maintain and win new business

Excellent relationship management and communication skills

Ability to work both independently and within a team
