About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our Sydney Office. This is a hands-on role, and you will be working in an autonomous environment.
Your work is responsible for providing high level and professional support to the finance function, to ensure that the day-to-day financial operations of the business are in a timely manner
Key requirements for this role include:
- Full AP/AR management
- Ensure timely issue of revenue invoices in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Fortnightly payroll process
- Conducting all day-to-day account transactions
- Bank reconciliation
- End of month processing, reconciliation, and journals
- Monthly management report
- Cashflow forecast and management
- Budgeting and analysis
- Prepare BAS and EOFY reconciliations
- Job costing and tracking
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations adhering to accounting standards
Qualifications and Skills required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in either public practice or a senior bookkeeping role
- Cert IV in Bookkeeping and BAS Agent Certification are bonus
- Impeccable eye for detail and pride in delivering consistently accurate work
- High level of communication skills (written and verbal)
- Tech savvy and able to learn new software programs quickly
- Strong Excel Skills
